In Paris, Espace 115 Schüco reinterprets the idea of the showroom, transforming it into an immersive experience where technical innovation, modularity, and design come together in a dynamic, welcoming, and deeply human space.
In the heart of rue Réaumur, Espace 115 Schüco — inaugurated in September 2025 to mark the 60th anniversary of Schüco International SCS in France — goes beyond the simple display of products to create a fluid environment where architecture, design, and technology engage in a natural dialogue. Open to a broader audience, and not only to professionals already familiar with the brand, the project was born from a clear objective: to make tangible and understandable a technical expertise that is often perceived as abstract.
“The aim of the project was to reveal the invisible: to turn discreet technology into an experience, staging the products rather than simply displaying them, so that visitors could understand, through use and interaction, the full innovation and quality of Schüco solutions,” explains Émilie André, Creative Director and Managing Director of Studio Jean Marc Gady, the studio behind the interior architecture of Espace 115.
Conceived as a sensory journey, the space guides visitors through a series of environments in which Schüco solutions become an integral part of the architecture. Glass façades, openings, and aluminium structures go beyond their technical function to become elements capable of defining the space and revealing its potential.

At the heart of the journey, the Patio plays a fundamental role. Designed to engage all the senses, it offers an immersive experience made of light, sound, fresh air, and fragrance: an intimate environment, separated from the rest of the showroom, where product performance can be perceived directly, through direct experience, without the need for explanation. The lighting design, developed in collaboration with lighting designer Jean François Touchard, reinforces this warm and enveloping atmosphere.
Designed to change over time, the showroom is based on a high degree of modularity: transformable spaces, adaptable configurations, and multiple scenarios — from events to professional meetings. Like a constantly evolving showcase, the Patio is intended to change over time, following developments and the changing seasons, renewing the experience and inviting people to cross the threshold.
“From the very beginning of the project, our ambition was to imagine a place in constant evolution, capable of reflecting the projects and uses it welcomes. We therefore made flexibility a fundamental strategic choice,” says Sophie Kauffmann, Human Resources, Communication and Digital Director at Schüco International SCS.

Modular spaces, sliding and folding systems, and flexible configurations allow the space to adapt to the needs of partners, architects, designers, and private clients, reinforcing its vocation as a living space, open to connection and exchange.
More than a showroom, Espace 115 Schüco is a place for meeting and dialogue, where design becomes a shared language and opens a direct conversation around projects, uses, and the themes of contemporary architecture.
In this context, furniture plays a central role. Arper’s modular and flexible solutions fit naturally into the project, supporting the evolution of the spaces while ensuring continuity, comfort, and formal coherence.
“The choice of Arper came naturally: the two brands share the same vision, that of designing spaces where technical performance is accompanied by genuine comfort in use and constant attention to people’s experience. In an environment dominated by glass and aluminium, Arper collections introduce a human and sensitive dimension (…)” adds Sophie Kauffmann.

From lounge areas to meeting spaces, and even more informal settings, the furniture encourages encounter and helps create welcoming atmospheres — essential in a place designed for relationships and collaboration.
The project brings together catalogue products and elements developed bespoke with Arper Atelier, following a hybrid approach that combines standard and custom-made solutions.
“Thanks to its flexibility and modular approach, Arper furniture supports the transformations of the space, introducing comfort, warmth, and humanity into an environment dominated by technology. The integration of bespoke elements makes it possible to respond to the specificities of the project, creating a coherent dialogue between architecture, technical systems, and design,” explains Émilie André.
The bespoke elements are integrated into the architecture and interact with Schüco products, while Arper collections provide flexibility, durability, and adaptability.
“Customisation is an integral part of Schüco’s DNA, just as it is of Arper’s (…). The bespoke creations by Arper Atelier naturally extend the Arper collections, while offering a unique response to the project. This dialogue between standard and bespoke reflects the shared vision of the two brands: adapting excellence to every context,” states Sophie Kauffmann.
From the entrance, the presentation of the aluminium life cycle communicates Schüco’s commitment to circularity. The central table becomes both an educational and narrative tool, making the processes of production, recycling, and reuse visible to an audience increasingly attentive to these themes. The modularity of Arper furniture reinforces this vision, supporting disassembly, reuse, and reconfiguration.
Conceived as an open and accessible experience, Espace 115 Schüco invites visitors to imagine new possibilities and turn their ideas into concrete projects.
“We want every visitor to leave this place with the conviction that their ideas can take shape (…) It is in this ability to transform inspiration into a project that the true imprint of Espace 115 Schüco lies,” concludes Sophie Kauffmann.
