On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile, we announce a co-branding project with Twinset Milano. This collaboration marks an extraordinary encounter between the excellence of Italian design and the refinement of Made in Italy, giving life to a unique experience at the intersection of design and fashion.
Our iconic Catifa Carta chair takes center stage in the window display of the Twinset boutique at Via Manzoni 34 in Milan. The shell of Catifa Carta is entirely made from PaperShell, an innovative material derived from paper obtained through wood waste. Thanks to its nature, PaperShell retains the carbon dioxide absorbed by trees. At the end of its life, it returns to the earth as biochar, a remarkable form of charcoal capable of storing CO₂ trapped during its lifecycle, preventing its release into the atmosphere. With its circular design, Catifa Carta is the first “carbon negative” shell.
At the same time, Twinset Milano unveils an exclusive version of the Liliane bag, conceived to offer a touch of graphic flair and originality. Crafted using materials recovered and recycled through low-impact processes that reduce energy, water, and chemical use, the bag stands out for its partially recycled, non-galvanized steel finishes, and for two large rings that innovatively connect the handle to the body. The color palette of the Liliane bag echoes the tones of the cushions that complete the look of Catifa Carta, creating a perfect aesthetic and harmonious balance between fashion and design. This collaboration takes shape in a limited edition of just 14 pieces, symbolizing exclusivity and craftsmanship. It is an initiative that celebrates talent, vision, and the synergy between our two creative worlds.
