ODOS Architects London Studio has recently completed the first UK offices of Slack, the creator of the instant-messaging app for businesses launched in 2013.
The San Francisco-based company opened its first European office in Dublin in 2015 - also designed by ODOS Architects - and the London offices are their second European base.

For Slack's 540 sqm new offices, located on the top two floors of the former BBC Radio 1 broadcasting building in central London, the architects chose a largely monochrome colour palette that reflects the company's desired aesthetic: "mature and timeless".
The bright and naturally lit offices, overlooking the city skyline through black framed "eyes to the city", are designed to create inspiring and reflective workspaces.
Meeting rooms, office areas and numerous ad hoc breakout areas create a suite of spaces tailored to the needs of the employees, aiming to enhance social interaction between them.
