A simple design, carefully balanced and recognizable, Cari introduces a new softness to contemporary spaces as the boundaries between working and living continue to shift.
Cari is shaped through the interplay of structure and softness. A generous shell gives the piece its architectural presence, while integrated soft upholstery brings comfort and warmth. Clean geometric lines remain controlled and precise yet softened from within. The proportions are deliberately enveloping, with integrated armrests that provide support and a sense of containment. Designed for spaces where work and hospitality increasingly overlap, Cari adapts easily to different contexts and ways of sitting, supporting moments of focus as well as informal exchange.
From material selection to end-of-life recovery, Cari reflects a considered approach to sustainability. The shell is made from recycled and recyclable polypropylene and is designed for complete material separation. The upholstery is assembled without glue to enable full disassembly, while an invisible zip allows the cover to be removed and replaced, extending the product’s lifespan through refurbishment and renewal.
Available in three versions, the fully upholstered shell can be paired with a five-star base with casters or with a four-star aluminium base with glides, the latter available in both meeting or lounge versions. All bases are die-cast aluminium. Cari finds its place in meeting rooms and executive offices as well as lobbies and hospitality spaces. It can be used individually, in pairs or in larger groupings. When used in numbers, it creates a clear spatial rhythm within the room. In Cari, essential design, comfort, versatility and circular thinking come together to shape a new expression of contemporary seating.
