The new collection Kiik, designed by Iwasaki Design Studio, won both #MetropolisLikes award and the HiP award during NeoCon 2018, the North America's most important contract industry trade show held in Chicago on 11th to 13th June.
#MetropolisLikes award, promoted by the Metropolis magazine, celebrates the best collections and the most innovative trends exhibited during NeoCon, selected by a panel of experienced Metropolis editors across hundreds of submissions from around the world.
Kiik has been honored with a custom designed award, delivered live at the Arper showroom during the fair. The award designed by Texan studio Trophyology was crafted by master artisans from precious wood.
HIP (Honoring Industry People Product), promoted by Interior Design magazine, awarded Kiik in the “workplace: bench” category, during a special ceremony that took place on Sunday 10th June at the historic Merchandise Mart building in Chicago and hosted by editor in chief Cindy Allen.
The contest honors each year companies and talents, who have distinguished themselves for the innovative approach of the collections presented.
Kiik is a modular collection of seating, tables, ottomans and consoles that creates moments for working, gathering, or relaxation in graphic forms with myriad configurations.
Its modular nature and material finish specification options make it a complementary addition to any context.
