Arper presented new collections at this year’s Neocon June 15-17, 2015, at the Chicago showroom, in Merchandise Mart (3rd Floor #339). New products, conceived for contemporary workspaces, embody Arper’s Soft Tech approach to design, putting their interaction with people at the core. Versatile, light and essential, these products all have built-in technology which is both invisible and intuitive thus ensuring the well-being and natural comfort of those who experience them every day. Arper collections presented at Neocon received major awards in the U.S. and Canada:
Kinesit wins Best in Furniture Design stand for excellence in architecture and design, and awards the most outstanding products on the market. 720 entries from 42 countries were evaluated and selected by an international jury and popular vote. Lievore Altherr Molina designed Kinesit has been awarded Best in Furniture Design, while Zinta, also designed by the Barcelona-based design studio, was the finalist in the same category.
The second installment of Interior Design’s annual recognition program, HiP at NeoCon, awarded Arper's Parentesit as the winner in their Best Workplace Furniture category, while Kinesit was a finalist in the Task Seating category. The HiP awards recognizes commercial industry pioneers and achievement in product relating to workplace, hospitality, health and wellness, education, kitchen and bath, and institutional and government.
During NeoCon, Metropolis editors scanned the floors of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart looking for the very best offerings in the commercial interior industry. Over the three day review, editors selected 35 of their favorite products from among 700 exhibitors for the magazine’s viral award program #MetropolisLikes. Metropolis awarded Arper's Parentesit by Lievore Altherr Molina as one of the best new products from NeoCon.
