The year-long partnership was launched in February with a full day programme of events in celebration of the 2018 Royal Gold Medal, awarded this year to the celebrated Modernist architect Neave Brown (1929-2018) for his contribution to social housing.
IIt continued with the co-sponsorship of Disappear Here: on perspective and other kinds of space, a new commission by Sam Jacob Studio exploring how perspective drawing has been applied to the art of building for centuries and used as a tool to evoke illusory architectural spaces.

Duna02 and Zinta Waiting, designed for Arper by Lievore Altherr Molina, were chosen for the official press photo call.
Sponsorship of this exhibition for Arper sits in that intercultural dialogue across arts, architecture and design, which Arper fosters and feels passionate about.

In July, Arper was a proud sponsor of the RIBA National Awards Winners 2018 party hosted at the Serpentine Pavilion in Hyde Park. The RIBA National Awards are given to buildings across the UK recognized as significant contributions to architecture. Duna02 and Yop were chosen for the event.
