Adell, designed by Lievore + Altherr Désile Park, is recognized as a Best of Best at the Iconic Awards 2021: Innovative Interior for the Furniture category.

Organized by the German Design Council, the Iconic Awards: Innovative Interior honor outstanding products from the furniture and interior design industries.

The applicants normally include businesses within the furniture, interior design and interior-architecture industries, which stand out for their excellent, innovative work. A jury composed of five representatives from the design sector, including interior designers, journalists and architects, selects the winners.

The jury described Adell as follows: “With its smoothly rounded design language, the seat, which is designed with sustainability in mind and made of 80% recycled plastic, looks pleasantly inviting and comfortable.

“At the same time, the simple piece of furniture, which seems to float like a leaf, especially in combination with the filigree frame base, is pleasantly discreet and inconspicuous. This makes it a timelessly elegant piece of furniture that can be configured and used in a variety of ways and contributes to a relaxed atmosphere everywhere.”
