From 16 to 23 May 2024 we are celebrating NYCxDESIGN, New York City’s annual design festival, featuring hundreds of design events, from exhibits and trade shows to talks and tours all around the city.
On May 16, we will host a group of NY-based designers, journalists and creatives to take part in a terrarium workshop in our showroom, located in SoHo on the second floor of a historic building overlooking Broadway.
We will open the event with a brief overview about Catifa Carta and PaperShell, and tell the story of its lifecycle. Partnering with PlantShed who will lead the workshop, we will create terrariums and tie in the element of biochar.
A cocktail will follow, with light bites and prosecco from our partners Obicà Mozzarella Bar, Acetaia Giusti and Massotina.
On the 22nd we have partnered with IIDA NY to host a panel discussion in our showroom, focusing on the topic of AI and its impact on design. The panel will be followed by small-group breakout discussions to engage attendees in thoughtful debate about the topic. Guests will include IIDA members, as well as a diverse group of A+D professionals, professors, students, and thought-leaders from across the industry.
