The Ralik, design by Ichiro Iwasaki, and Semiton, design by García Cumini, collections were recognized at the Stylepark Selected Award, organized by Stylepark, one of the most famous international platform and portal for architecture and design. In its 6th season, the awards offers an overview of current design developments and serves as a guide for architects, designers, journalists and design lovers.
The jury commented on Ralik as follows: “The modular collection impresses with numerous elements that can be flexibly combined and link work and lounge. Whether bench or armchair, with or without backrest: the comfortable upholstered furniture is equipped with loading connections and can be extended with fixed or height-adjustable tables. Recycled materials have been used in the interests of the circular economy and the range can be completely dismantled and returned to the cycle. Bold colours round off Ichiro Iwasaki's design.”
Of Semiton, the jury says: “With "Semiton", Arper meets the demand for customised room solutions. The cabinet system is freely configurable, modules such as shelves or cabinets can be arranged with (seating) surfaces on an aluminium frame. The carcasses with wood veneer are available in many colours and form a stable and highly flexible system. The concealed cable management also provides an elegant solution, allowing the furniture to be used as a room divider”.
