Arper and Plastify in Singapore

What is the role of design in promoting sustainable and conscious practices through the use of materials? 

As we strive to support the transition from a linear to a circular economy, we decided to discuss this topic with Plastify, an activist specialized in plastic recycling and reuse, at the Arper space within the Stylecraft showroom in Singapore. Together with Plastify, we showcased the tangible potential of post-consumer plastic, encouraging reflection on the importance of recycling and reuse.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to experience the process of transforming waste into resources. With tools provided by Plastify, they were able to turn over 7 kg of locally recycled plastic into 200 coasters.
