In February, Arper was the sole sponsor of one of the highest architecture accolades in Great Britain: the 2019 Royal Gold Medal.
The Royal Gold Medal was awarded this year to renowned British architect Sir Nicholas Grimshaw, known for his Modernist public buildings and large-scale infrastructure projects.
This prestigious prize is approved personally by Her Majesty The Queen, and given to a person or group of people who have had a significant influence, either directly or indirectly, on the advancement of architecture.
