Catifa Carta features a re-engineered shell made of PaperShell, a revolutionary new material derived from paper. It retains carbon dioxide captured by trees, significantly reducing the chair's environmental impact. At the end of its life, the material returns to nature as biochar, locking in the CO2.

29枚の木質シートを層にして天然樹脂で接着したペーパーシェルは、製品のライフサイクル全体を通してCO2を吸収するという樹木の特性を生かすことで環境に及ぼす影響を劇的に軽減しています。 Catifa Cartaは、CO2排出量を最小限に抑えるだけでなく、資源を捨てずに循環させるという設計方法を実践しています。
